Human connection
is the foundation
for everything I do.

Creator & Lifelong
Business Owner
Modern Business Strategy.
Classic Hospitality Principles.

1981
Born Into
Business
I grew up working in my family’s restaurants,
Thorndale Piazza Deli, Ruffini’s, and Café Gap,
where I learned the fundamentals of
business and hospitality. In 2011, I opened
my own restaurant, Pronto, with my brother Ron.

2006
Building
Community
I was an early podcast pioneer, launching my first
show in 2006 — years before podcasting was mainstream.
In 2013, I created Drummer’s Resource, the #1 drumming
podcast in the world and a top-100 global music podcast,
amassing tens of millions of downloads.
Every business
is in the
hospitality business.

Fostering
Great Ideas
I then launched Revoice Media, a full-service podcast
production company, creating content for best-in-class
brands and leading campaigns with FaZe Clan for
legacy clients like Porsche, Nike, and the NFL.

2023
Storytelling for
The Modern World
I joined Good Day Film as a partner, helping revitalize
the company and expand its focus. Today, we produce
commercials, branded content, TV, and documentaries
for clients like MLB and Netflix.

People
& Places
Inspired by my family’s real estate background and
my love for Italy’s piazzas, I founded Ruffini Capital to
develop retail spaces that foster culture, commerce,
and meaningful human connection.

1996
Connecting
Through Music
For over 25 years, I’ve been a professional musician.
After leading Monacy for 10 years and performing alongside
Page McConnell (Phish), Karl Denson, and The Greyboy Allstars,
I released a Top 50 jazz album with Johnny DeFrancesco.
Blending Craft
& Commerce
I operate and advise businesses aimed at fostering
human connection and creating resonance.
MY OPERATING PRINCIPLES:
1. PEOPLE-FIRST CULTURE
Great service starts with a team
that’s proud of the work they do
2. EXPERIENCES THAT RESONATE
From retail to restaurants to content —
what matters is how it makes people feel
3. OPERATIONS THAT MAKE SENSE
Businesses should run like they
plan to be around forever
4. HOSPITALITY AT THE CORE OF EVERYTHING
No matter the business, you’re in the
business of taking care of people

From an early age...
everything I’ve been a part of, whether working in my
family’s restaurants, playing in bands, launching podcasts,
or producing content, has been rooted in connection.
I learned the power of hospitality, community, and the
idea that life is richer when shared with others.
That sense of connection has always been my
guiding principle, shaping both my work and
my approach to business and life.
